A TEQUILA COCKTAIL COMPETITON
WHAT IS THE TANTEO STANDOFF?
This annual competition ignites the passion of bartenders nationwide, challenging them to craft bold and unique cocktails using Tanteo Tequila. Bartenders showcase their skill and innovation, vying for the chance to compete in the thrilling finals held in Mexico.
ENTRIES ARE ACCEPTED FROM:
March 8, 2024 - May 5, 2024
EIGHT FINALISTS WILL BE INVITED TO A LIVE COMPETITION ON:
August 14, 2024 in Guadalajara, Mexico
GRAND PRIZE:
$20,000* and the Tanteo Championship Belt
*Split between them and the charity of their choice
HOW TO ENTER
CREATE AN ORIGINAL COCKTAIL RECIPE
The cocktail MUST be tequila-based
and feature Tanteo Tequila as its main ingredient.
CREATE A VIDEO & TAKE A PHOTO
The video must be 1 minute minimum of you creating your cocktail. Please make sure
to include all of the ingredients and a name for your cocktail. Also take a photo of the finished cocktail!

HOW YOUR COCKTAIL WILL BE JUDGED
WHAT OUR JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR
Our panel of judges will score each submission based on:
PRESENTATION
CREATIVITY (including name)
PERCEIVED TASTE
*Criteria is equally weighted
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU PROCEED
SEMI-FINALS
The top 12 highest scores from each region (Northeast, Southeast, Central, and West)
will be posted on the Tanteo website where the public can vote on their favorite cocktail from each region.
FINALS
Two bartenders from each region will move on to the finals.
The fan favorite, based on highest votes, and the judges favorite, based on highest score.
PRIZES
Each finalist and their plus one will receive an all expense paid trip to Mexico, including a
inclusive tour of our distillery, and to compete for a chance to win....
